Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people 65 and older and some individuals under 65 with certain disabilities or End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). You may be eligible based on your work history or your spouse’s work history. Enrollment periods apply, so it’s important to sign up at the right time to avoid penalties.
Medicare Advantage (Part C) is a private insurance option that combines hospital, medical, and often prescription drug coverage into one plan. These plans typically have provider networks and set out-of-pocket costs. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans help pay for some out-of-pocket costs under Original Medicare, such as deductibles and coinsurance. They work alongside Original Medicare and cannot be used with a Medicare Advantage plan. Medigap plans do not include prescription drug coverage, so you may need to enroll in a separate Part D plan. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans help cover out-of-pocket costs like deductibles and coinsurance under Original Medicare. They provide greater flexibility by allowing you to see any doctor that accepts Medicare, but they require an additional monthly premium.
Original Medicare (Parts A & B) does not include most prescription drugs. However, you can get prescription drug coverage by enrolling in a standalone Medicare Part D plan or a Medicare Advantage plan that includes drug coverage. It's important to enroll when first eligible to avoid late enrollment penalties. We can help you compare Part D plans based on your medications.
We can help you review Medicare plans to check if your preferred doctors and medications are covered. This includes looking at provider networks, drug formularies, and estimated costs. We offer no-cost plan reviews to help you compare your options and make an informed decision.
Yes, but only during certain enrollment periods: Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) (Oct. 15 – Dec. 7): You can enroll in, switch, or drop a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan. Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (Jan. 1 – March 31): If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, you can switch to another or return to Original Medicare. Special Enrollment Periods (SEP): Some individuals may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period due to certain life events, such as moving, losing other health coverage, or qualifying for Medicaid. If you are unsure about your options, we can help you understand your eligibility.
As a local Arizona-based Medicare agency, we offer personalized service and ongoing support—not just at enrollment, but throughout the year. Unlike national call centers, we provide: ✅ Face-to-face, virtual, or phone consultations to answer your Medicare questions. ✅ Help with plan changes or coverage issues after enrollment. ✅ Assistance with claims, billing, and appeals. Our goal is to provide education and guidance so you can make an informed Medicare decision.
There is no direct cost to work with us. We are licensed, independent agents who can help you compare plans. If you enroll through us, we may receive compensation from the insurance carrier. However, our priority is educating you and helping you find a Medicare plan that fits your needs.
